In the UK, the word Mensa is of course trademarked by British Mensa Ltd. It is also trademarked by Tripart Farm Chemicals Limited for Chemical products, preparations and growing media for agricultural, horticultural and silvicultural purposes; fertilizers, manures, composts and plant growth enhancers; foliar feeds; wetting agents for use with agrochemicals; soil conditioners and also by Howe UK Limited for tables;tables sold as sets or as nests, all for office or commercial use..

No this isn't Star Wars! I'm David Bolton, admin of the site and British Mensa member for nearly 27 years. During this time I have been treasurer of Irish Mensa (an organisation deemed Oxymoronic by the Late Victor Serebriakoff) and Loc. Sec. of the Fylde and Wyre Mensa for several years. I'm now webmaster of PartySig - A Special Interest Group for partyers within British Mensa.
